Our Books
Amharic Kids started in 2007 by publishing “Our First Amharic Words” a picture dictionary book of 75 Amharic words. We are a niche publisher and only publish books related to Ethiopia and Ethiopian adoption. We put much thought and effort into our books because we are an adoptive family. We not only need the books for our family, we need them to get it right! These are the books we have published so far:
We also publish an annual Ethiopia calendar. Each year the calendar helps to raise funds for individual adoptions, and many other Ethiopian causes through our fundraiser program. The calendars are offered at a wholesale price for individuals and organizations to resell - immediately earning the profits. It has been a very successful program.
